After some careless play in the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ defense, Ubaldo Goyanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Benavides. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Benavides should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Ubaldo Goyanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Sein made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Guillermo Escalona sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Escalona got free with Freddy Sein in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Benavides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sporting Angola were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Cunha took the corner. Sporting Angola's Miguel Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 15 minutes of play, Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 19th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Angola were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Cunha took the corner. The corner led Sporting Angola's Miguel Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Benavides despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Escalona in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Ubaldo Goyanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Angola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Goyanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 27th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Goyanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Goyanes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 52nd minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Goyanes in the 58th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Nikitas Staboulidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ubaldo Goyanes might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Benavides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Goyanes ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Goyanes. Juan Benavides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Cunha who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Sporting Angola's Adam Pyczkowski got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Ubaldo Goyanes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Benavides. The goal made the score 0-5. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Escalona in the 74th minute of play. Sporting Angola made a substitution. Şenol Yazıcı replaced Nikitas Staboulidis. Sporting Angola's Tomas Gartzen was substituted for Ubaldo Goyanes. Ren Peng Fei kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A hard shot by Miguel Cunha from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Juan Benavides's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Tomas Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and Tomas Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Sein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Escalona in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides got control of the ball when Tomas Gartzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Cunha who took care of the corner kick. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Angola's performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Angola.
