A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filip Doinaș hit a great ball. Yanick Knecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fathi Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Blidaru. Alin Tonegaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fathi Yu made the kick off in the second half. Heli Segura hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Bull Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while LIVIUS UNITED MLS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
