When Albino Canor fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos de Buenos Aires FC's protests and gave Albino Canor a yellow card for diving instead. Feliciano Ayala had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Järvenperä's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Feliciano Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 21st minute of the match. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Feliciano Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 22nd minute of play. Feliciano Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Feliciano Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Järvenperä in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Marcin Hodyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MDQ Raptors FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Järvenperä in the 40th minute. MDQ Raptors FC's Ramiro Gaueko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feliciano Ayala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 42 minutes into the game, MDQ Raptors FC's Hermengildo Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Ayala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Abelardo Rocendo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliciano Ayala, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Santos de Buenos Aires FC made a substitution. Matias Remir replaced Rafael Gipuzkoa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Järvenperä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, MDQ Raptors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Danilo Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Seber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Danilo Seber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Järvenperä in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Ayala saved Santos de Buenos Aires FC from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, MDQ Raptors FC's Hermengildo Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when Santos de Buenos Aires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Cambiasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Santos de Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hilario Fix hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Hermengildo Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Hipolito Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Rozarius couldn't finish the play. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when Santos de Buenos Aires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Ayala came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by MDQ Raptors FC's Teofilo Adrio. But to his dismay, Teofilo Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Albino Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Daniel Järvenperä had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Ayala. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Järvenperä was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 83rd minute, Bruno Cambiasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 85th minute of the match. Teodosio James struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cosme Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos de Buenos Aires FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MDQ Raptors FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santos de Buenos Aires FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
