Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 11th minute of play. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boruc Furgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Claudio Cerritos went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Mao in the 21st minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Remigiusz Kazanowski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wiktor Falkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiktor Falkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Falkiewicz came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Wiktor Falkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Falkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Santo Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. Kania Gostyń's Boruc Furgal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Kania Gostyń from getting a goal against them. Darryl Buckner might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boruc Furgal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darryl Buckner ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Alin Niculiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dep Colonia Avellaneda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Vasile Tufescu after 72 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper to hold. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Konstanty Domalik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. Kania Gostyń succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Dep Colonia Avellaneda had controlled the match.
