After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Ernest Poplăcean got a free kick in the 2nd minute. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 4th minute of play. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Hermengildo Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal and Hermengildo Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Horaţiu Zotincă fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Horaţiu Zotincă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Zotincă to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Adrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrei Pavel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Adrio ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Fanaticii's attentive Moise Corduneanu managed to snatch the ball when Tiburcio Harriet made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Daniel Järvenperä's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Pavel was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Ciocâlteu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Jitaru to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Adrio got free with Andrei Pavel in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Tiburcio Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, FC Fanaticii's Aurelian Enișteanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Francesco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Fanaticii reached it. The audience was convinced that Daniel Järvenperä's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Pavel was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ursino came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 87th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Hermengildo Ursino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrei Pavel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. MDQ Raptors FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
