BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhou Zhen Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Toninho Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lei Wei Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivier Dubs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakut Vecihi in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Yakut Vecihi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olivier Dubs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Commons in the 36th minute of play. Su Xing Jie took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olivier Dubs. Olivier Dubs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhou Zhen Zhen came free, but Olivier Dubs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Abbas Ağayarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pierre Haeberle was slow to take the kick. During this time Abbotsford FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Parker Macinnes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Jiang Liang Wei got a free kick in the 60th minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
