After 42 minutes, Wei Chang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Ciudad de Soria and the Cachoeira Paulista F.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Wei Chang. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 96th minute, Martin Berriotxoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.D. Ciudad de Soria fully deserved thier win.
