The corner led S.C.CHUÍ's Derwin Valensuela to fire away a dangerous shot which Orhan Seyfi Üstün despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Armando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Şenalp in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Kahraman Sancar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. H E P T A N's Murat Şenalp got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joris Scheer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joris Scheer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orhan Seyfi Üstün having to make a save. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Akkurt in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Orhan Yalvaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on S.C.CHUÍ's corner Jonas Zanette fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orhan Seyfi Üstün quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Jonas Zanette put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. Armando Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 72nd minute. 78 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's Ali Orhan Yalvaç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
