Carlos Augusto Martins started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Jiang Liang Wei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fernando Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino de Brito took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fernando Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Liang Wei in the 12th minute of the match. Toninho Cosme took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 19 minutes of play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Jiang Liang Wei made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Cosme in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Alexandre Xande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gabriel Fontes hit a great ball. Toninho Cosme scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Cosme in the 32nd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Gino de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agostinho Brodel during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Toninho Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the BEST FABIO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Cosme couldn't finish the play. Fernando Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Brito in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43rd play minutes Toninho Cosme shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Fernando Veloso and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half BEST FABIO F.C. were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Cosme made a kick off. Wilian de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Olivier Dubs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino de Brito went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gino de Brito came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Gino de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Donatello during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Leonel Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Veloso made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gino de Brito sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute of the match, Gino de Brito got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Veloso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Gino de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Veloso. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Veloso should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Toninho Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when BEST FABIO F.C.'s Toninho Cosme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Fernando Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino de Brito went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Gino de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. Fernando Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Cosme in the 93rd minute of play. BEST FABIO F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
