After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Cosme Iraunkor got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington de Lara. Tirense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Washington de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 30th minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Yuan Yuan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MZ Fénix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 36th minute. Ruperto Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Zajonc having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Cosme Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cai Yuan Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Nicolas Balsemão kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s André Maraschin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Zajonc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Washington de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Granja in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vygantas Petrošius hit a great ball. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. In the 72nd minute, Vygantas Petrošius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Yuan Yuan. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Aras Görkem Kaymaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Aras Görkem Kaymaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tirense F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MZ Fénix's performance. The match ended with a win for MZ Fénix.
