Helder Cadanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Eskil Stenkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. excursio fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Eskil Stenkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Bröms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The excursio fc fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when excursio fc's Eskil Stenkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Feliciano Manrique showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋誉朋, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, 蒋誉朋 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feliciano Manrique saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnoldo Betadur might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göran Bröms. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Betadur ran back to his position shaking his head. Imre Szabó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zekeriya Tongar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Göran Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Helder Cadanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRUGGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helder Cadanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when excursio fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Ledochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Imre Szabó was the one to do the kick off. Zekeriya Tongar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Göran Bröms firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Imre Szabó in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Manrique saved excursio fc from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Stenkvist got free with Göran Bröms in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRUGGE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iwan Cupial was slow to take the kick. During this time excursio fc's players had a chance to rest. Eskil Stenkvists short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Göran Bröms to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BRUGGE FC's Göran Bröms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save BRUGGE FC from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Stanley St Clair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helder Cadanes in the 87th minute of play forced excursio fc's goalkeeper Feliciano Manrique to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Bröms made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Zekeriya Tongar sent off a good shot on target. Eskil Stenkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Göran Bröms when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 93 minutes into the game, Helder Cadanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRUGGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave excursio fc the free kick. Helder Cadanes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Göran Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eskil Stenkvist's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
