Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loukianos Livas started the match with the kick off. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Edwardo in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Luis Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Luis Edwardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Edwardo in the 11th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Edwardo in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner. Luís Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Donadeu AFC's goalie and right to Simão Boaventura. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Donadeu AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Francisco Queirós with Simão Boaventura as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 20 minutes into the match, Donadeu AFC's Luis Edwardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Maltez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Ramon Gomesano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez. After a rather tough play, Donadeu AFC's Jeremias Nicholas got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Donadeu AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Ursino took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Maltez. Armindo Maltez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Donadeu AFC's Artturi Kaven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute Loukianos Livas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Kaven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ponte do Carro defense, Anastasio Ursino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Maltez. The Ponte do Carro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Maltez should have stopped the shot. Donadeu AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damian Urtsua in the 64th minute. Donadeu AFC's Artturi Kaven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 68th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Armindo Maltez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Armindo Maltez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ramon Gomesano sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Simão Boaventura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artturi Kaven was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ramon Gomesano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Armindo Maltez made a huge save. In the 88thth minute of the game Norberto Abeitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Loukianos Livas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Anastasio Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
