An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Vidales in the 21st minute of play forced Stylus United's goalkeeper Battal Refiğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alperen Birsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Gaxan having to interfere. With a little luck, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's Romeo Gaxan got control of the ball when Alperen Birsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Tālis Cam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's 方常珂 got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Ludomil Dawiec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Gaxan skillfully saved the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Alperen Birsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's Romeo Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Albuquerque came free, but Romeo Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
