After some careless play in the Juventus Telford defense, Claudio Caniglia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luizinho Paranaense. The Juventus Telford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luizinho Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Claudio Caniglia scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Çağdaş Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luizinho Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Caniglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 15th minute of play. Luizinho Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Tagliafico's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Cälal Elxanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cälal Elxanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Kapiton Bomba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Janusze Futbolu from getting a goal against them. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cälal Elxanov in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jake Ellerton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Claudio Caniglia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janusze Futbolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Caniglia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Janusze Futbolu from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Caniglia's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Caniglia in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Piarres in the 45th minute of play. Luizinho Paranaense came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia. But to his dismay, Claudio Caniglia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Caniglia was the one to do the kick off. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Telford from getting a goal against them. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Spychalski in the 55th minute of play. Peter-Michael Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cälal Elxanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çağdaş Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Paranaense having to interfere. Luizinho Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 62nd minute. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Zyskowski in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizinho Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Janusze Futbolu's Eugeniusz Osowski was substituted for Kapiton Bomba. 70 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goal looked a bit too open when Cälal Elxanov came free, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás Tagliafico hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luizinho Paranaense didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağdaş Quaresma in the 78th minute of play. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Telford from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 86th minute. Luizinho Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Zyskowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
