Olaf Degens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Eguen having to interfere. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Minas Makris sped through MK Investments's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Oldenborger. 41 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Makris came free, but Peter Oldenborger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Minas Makris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Oldenborger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MK Investments's Domenik Hoffhuis got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Minas Makris made a kick off. After 57 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiaan Middeljans. Celedonio Eguen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waclaw Poremba went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Olaf Degens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MK Investments fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenik Hoffhuis in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiaan Middeljans in the 73rd minute of play. When Jorn Pilage fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MK Investments's protests and gave Jorn Pilage a yellow card for diving instead. Jorn Pilage hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Peter Oldenborger was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anselmo Jenaro. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
