Yan Ceresso made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dida Doutté. Kléber Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Marinescu in the 83rd minute of play. Gürsel Aksel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kléber Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmane Texas. Inter de São Paulo made a substitution. Basmane Texas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
