The audience was convinced that Basilio Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bath Boyce was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Basilio Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, General Tanz II's Basilio Abancens made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bath Boyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermengildo Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Everett in the 42nd minute of play. Hermengildo Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Pearse, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Abancens to make the kick off. With his leg Bath Boyce managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when General Tanz II's Basilio Abancens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The General Tanz II fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when General Tanz II's Basilio Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hermengildo Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Everett in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 minutes, Basilio Abancens made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. General Tanz II made a substitution. Arsenio Peruanton replaced Javier Saturnin. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Abancens in the 87th minute of play.
