When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Bartolo Mantzio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Venancio Oto to make any attempt to save it. Hermengildo Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Emiliano Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Frichoso came free, but Hermengildo Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punta Alvear were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after General Tanz II's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Veremundo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Punta Alvear's corner Bogdan Gopov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hermengildo Tipi quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Frichoso in the 21st minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Hermengildo Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Abancens in the 25th minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Venancio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Venancio Oto made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Mantzio got free with Venancio Oto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. General Tanz II's Hermengildo Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Heriberto in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Abancens came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Tipi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Heriberto in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emiliano Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Tanz II's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Domingo Cordarrel got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Benigno Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punta Alvear's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benicio Tavio was slow to take the kick. During this time General Tanz II's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Benicio Tavio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto did a great save.

Ermegildo Heriberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Tipi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Mantzio came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Punta Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Cordarrel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Frichoso got free with Hermengildo Tipi in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. General Tanz II made a substitution. Arsenio Peruanton replaced Javier Saturnin. Ermegildo Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hermengildo Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Abancens came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Etxatxu in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Punta Alvear's zone, Benigno Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Oto came out of the goal and Benigno Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Tonete came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Punta Alvear's goalie and right to Segundo Etxatxu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Punta Alvear's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Inocencio Frichosos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Hermengildo Tipi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Basilio Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. General Tanz II's Hermengildo Tipi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save General Tanz II from getting a goal against them. Benigno Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the General Tanz II players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
