Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sukma Adriansyah in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Arty Shearn got a free kick in the 6th minute. Andriy Shevchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Bath Boyce made a huge save. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Boroondara Milan from getting a goal against them. Andriy Shevchenko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bath Boyce firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bath Boyce was a little too slow when Simon Rioja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Boroondara Milan's attentive Kris Pearse managed to snatch the ball when Sebastian Lupu made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Ullún was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Dordea to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Everett in the 16th minute of play forced Ullún's goalkeeper CJ 曾诚 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ullún's Sukma Adriansyah in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 played minutes Ullún got a freekick which was hit by Moise Dordea. Andriy Shevchenko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. Bath Boyce made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Simon Rioja sent off a good shot on target. Andriy Shevchenko scored 4-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bath Boyce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andriy Shevchenko got free with Bath Boyce in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes Sukma Adriansyah rounded Boroondara Milan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. In the 44th minute, Kris Pearse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bath Boyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Rioja's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 55 minutes, Sukma Adriansyah made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 64 minutes, Simon Rioja made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sukma Adriansyah in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Pearse to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sukma Adriansyah in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bath Boyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Andriy Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sukma Adriansyah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Andriy Shevchenko came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Benny Atkin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Benny Atkin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Rioja in the 93rd minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Bath Boyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Boroondara Milan defense, Simon Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bath Boyce. The Boroondara Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bath Boyce should have stopped the shot. Ullún's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
