A nice corner shot did that Saturnino Gau got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmy Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Linköpings AIK fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwo Trzaskoma saved RIQUELME FC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Linköpings AIK's Albin Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwo Trzaskoma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Arvid Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iwo Trzaskoma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvid Carlsson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Iwo Trzaskoma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julien Staffelbach went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Alberto Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Linköpings AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when RIQUELME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Alberto Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Carlsson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Trzaskoma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, RIQUELME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Nilsson came free, but Iwo Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Arvid Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linköpings AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwo Trzaskoma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julien Staffelbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 47th minute of play forced RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Iwo Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, RIQUELME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Nilsson came free, but Iwo Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The RIQUELME FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Linköpings AIK were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Carlsson to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iwo Trzaskoma. That made the score 0-6 after 51 minutes of play. When Arvid Carlsson in the 55th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Iwo Trzaskoma kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 59th minute, Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 62nd minute, Arvid Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Linköpings AIK's Joakim Mikaelsson was substituted for Willy Witarya. Arvid Carlsson took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwo Trzaskoma. Iwo Trzaskoma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. In the 83rd minute, Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. In the 86th minute, Arvid Carlsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iwo Trzaskoma, passed just outside the right post. Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Carlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iwo Trzaskoma. That made the score 0-15 in the 92 minute of play.
