Giuseppe Leite made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pedro Munhoz sent off a good shot on target. Chiquinho Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Clóvis Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
