Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Ferreira in the 17th minute of the match. Derlis Florentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carroll Hathaway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 33rd minute Red Reign were awarded a corner. Derlis Florentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Armando Hera advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Sipo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carroll Hathaway. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Villamarin. Sipo EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maximo Villamarin 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias Gerber made a kick off. Dawid Ratulowski was a little too slow when Oséias Gerber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 50th minute. The score was now 2-1. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Villamarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carroll Hathaway having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 73rd minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias Gerber in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dawid Ratulowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Red Reign made a substitution. Pablo Beloso replaced Lopez Portanares. Red Reign made a substitution. Xosepe Villamizar replaced Derlis Florentin. After 81 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Mohamed. Maximo Villamarin struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Carroll Hathaway didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Reign's Xosepe Villamizar. But to his dismay, Xosepe Villamizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Red Reign were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
