When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Marco Van Der Taelen put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Nascimento. In the 18th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 22nd play minutes Marco Van Der Taelen shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Afonso Nascimento and just under the crossbar into goal. Afonso Nascimento came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen. But to his dismay, Marco Van Der Taelen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A collision led to ADCR Loreto United FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Laurentino Patrício hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes San Ciro Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Conti. With a little luck, ADCR Loreto United FC's Afonso Nascimento got control of the ball when Ionuț Corbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Conti, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Afonso Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute Marco Van Der Taelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 58th minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Afonso Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cassiano Lopes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Bruno Conti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Ciro Utd fully deserved thier win.
