In the 25th minute AYAZAĞA FK were awarded a corner. Vergil Van Dijk went to the cornerflag to take it. Vergil Van Dijk made a great header on AYAZAĞA FK's corner, it was just that Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius managed to reach the ball for a save. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Gümüşsoy in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezgin Aktemur in the 28th minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AYAZAĞA FK's Adulfo Antunez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save AYAZAĞA FK from getting a goal against them. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Gümüşsoy in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Berke Gümüşsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYAZAĞA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Gümüşsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

AYAZAĞA FK made a substitution. Metin Keçeci replaced Vecdi Baysan. AYAZAĞA FK's Atabek Makbul was substituted for Berke Gümüşsoy. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atabek Makbul to make the kick off. When Atabek Makbul came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the AYAZAĞA FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atabek Makbul couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Septinius made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Atabek Makbul sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Atabek Makbul took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Uwe Septinius to make any attempt to save it. Uwe Septinius was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Atabek Makbul capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atabek Makbul really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 73 minutes into the game, Paolo Xabat threw the ball into play from the sideline. AYAZAĞA FK's Kemalettin Keskiner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atabek Makbul got free with Uwe Septinius in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atabek Makbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Federico Insúa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Adulfo Antunez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atabek Makbul. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Liquisue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vergil Van Dijk was slow to take the kick. During this time AYAZAĞA FK's players had a chance to rest. Vergil Van Dijk made a great header on AYAZAĞA FK's corner, it was just that Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius managed to reach the ball for a save. Adulfo Antunez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The AYAZAĞA FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AYAZAĞA FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
