Modesto Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, O rey Iván's Modesto Garcia got a free kick in the 5th minute. Uwe Septinius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Fülep, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Garaona in the 14th minute of the match. Uwe Septinius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihály Fülep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match, Emiliano Boni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aristides Barea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 45 played minutes, O rey Iván's Augusto Fliz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uwe Septinius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in O rey Iván reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Itzaina made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Los Liquisue FC's Grigoris Berzovitis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Hermengildo Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Liquisue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Itzaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of O rey Iván were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Los Liquisue FC side.
