Angelo Jenaro in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laureano Rijo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Laureano Rijo had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Şinasi Ahioğlu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 62 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's goal looked a bit too open when Han Wei Yuan came free, but Laureano Rijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cedrick Francoeur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassiano Brochado's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Jenaro in the 72nd minute of play forced A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Eduardo Bulhosa made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cedrick Francoeur was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Catalonia's Czeslaw Piczak was substituted for Cezary Czeszyk. Mateus Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedrick Francoeur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. A.D.ESMOJÃES's Cassiano Brochado got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Bulhosa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Laureano Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Jenaro in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's Arlindo Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Rijo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Angelo Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cassiano Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Catalonia's zone, Mateus Baldaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedrick Francoeur came out of the goal and Mateus Baldaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The A.D.ESMOJÃES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D.ESMOJÃES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
