With a little luck, Golden Tigers's Marian Oelke got control of the ball when 蔡西誉 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Mario Pochekanski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Benevento's 吴卫天 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Ciro Aversano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 蔡西誉 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Marian Oelke made a huge save. 吴卫天 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Pochekanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Evangelista came free, but Marian Oelke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goal looked a bit too open when Darweesh Al Matrok came free, but 吴卫天 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 吴卫天 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darweesh Al Matrok in the 27th minute of play. 吴卫天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalel Al Motar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Darweesh Al Matrok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Marian Oelke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡西誉 in the 38th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Marian Oelke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Oelke made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ermanno Santarelli sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Mario Pochekanski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Pochekanski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 吴卫天 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 吴卫天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresconio Bobis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
