The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Bulltofta BB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Hultman having to make a save. Bulltofta BB's Jim Hultman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Evert Frykberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bulltofta BB's zone, Matias Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Hultman came out of the goal and Matias Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Matias Bilintx sped through Bulltofta BB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Hultman. 14 minutes into the match, Bulltofta BB's goalkeeper Jim Hultman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Curcio. 17 minutes into the game, Matias Bilintx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jim Hultman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saturnino Curcio scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Hultman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bulltofta BB's goalie prevented a goal. Ingvar Kvist hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Matias Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Matias Bilintx put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Hultman. Jim Hultman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Maradona in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bilintx in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Hultman saved Bulltofta BB from getting behind. Matias Bilintx who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jim Hultman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matias Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matias Bilintx did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Jim Hultman 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sporting de Gijón were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Bulltofta BB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Curcio took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Matias Bilintx drilling the ball in to score 6-0 behind Bulltofta BB's goalkeeper. In the 69th match minute, Bulltofta BB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Frykberg to maneuver through the defense. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Matias Bilintx sped through Bulltofta BB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Hultman. When the referee ended the match the Sporting de Gijón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
