After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Binne Deans got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romano Aguacero during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Romano Aguacero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Zygmunt Zielonka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 booed when Matungos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Dino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Matungos F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Timoteo Dino hit a great ball. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Zygmunt Zielonka shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jan-Erik Spetz but with some difficulty. Matungos F.C.'s Jan-Erik Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Kurwil in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Zbigniew Kurwil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Matungos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bowie Dillon came free, but Jan-Erik Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Matungos F.C.'s Arturo Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Erik Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bowie Dillon in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Matungos F.C.'s Jan-Erik Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Zielonka in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Matungos F.C. booed when KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binne Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Delmar Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Matungos F.C.'s Delmar Walme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Matungos F.C.'s goalkeeper Jan-Erik Spetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matungos F.C.'s Jan-Erik Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowie Dillon in the 62nd minute of play. Jan-Erik Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bowie Dillon went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 got a freekick which was hit by Gilian McDonald. Jan-Erik Spetz came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Bowie Dillon. But to his dismay, Bowie Dillon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Binne Deans hit a great ball. Bowie Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matungos F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946.
