Gonzo Ivanov started the match with the kick off. Peter Björkman charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Björkman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matey Trashliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Björkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matey Trashliev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Björkman's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Kevin Fagrell notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DARAS's Matey Trashliev. Matey Trashliev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Isaksson in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matey Trashliev saved DARAS from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Fagrell in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matey Trashliev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Kevin Fagrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matey Trashliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matey Trashliev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Björkman in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Kjell Hurtig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blueskatterna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. Kjell Hurtig hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. DARAS's Matey Trashliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Löv in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nils Falkrans hit a great ball. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blueskatterna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Volodya Biradzhiev was slow to take the kick. During this time DARAS's players had a chance to rest. Gonzo Ivanov had several of the FC Blueskatterna's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 49 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed André Nordmark as he didn't even see the shot coming. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Björkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matey Trashliev having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's Alex Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matey Trashliev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Henrik Löv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blueskatterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. FC Blueskatterna made a substitution. Östen Wik replaced Joachim Bergman. Matey Trashliev made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Henrik Löv sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Björkman could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Matey Trashliev however easily saved by the left post. If Henrik Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Matey Trashliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinnie Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Alex Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matey Trashliev having to interfere. With a little luck, DARAS's Matey Trashliev got control of the ball when Henrik Löv tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Blueskatterna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Löv in the 93rd minute. When FC Blueskatterna's Peter Björkman in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DARAS's goalie prevented a goal. Matey Trashliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Henrik Löv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Matey Trashliev made a huge save.
