Jorge Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Curcio was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Valdir Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdir Cavalcante really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jorge Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Téo Pires took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jorge Curcio to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes into the game, Kesoku FC's Paulino Remicio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Zarobski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sylwester Zarobski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Grêmio 20 Julho booed when Kesoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Remicio made a kick off. The Kesoku FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Valdemar de Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Curcio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Valdemar de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grêmio 20 Julho's Jânio Pires was substituted for Tiaguinho Saldanha. The corner ended in Humberto Soeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kesoku FC's Jorge Curcio did a great save. Maximino Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Valdemar de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Curcio. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jânio Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio 20 Julho's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Curcio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kesoku FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humberto Soeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio 20 Julho's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Grêmio 20 Julho's corner Valdir Cavalcante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Curcio quite easily take care of the ball. Grêmio 20 Julho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Humberto Soeiro in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Zé Carlos Pernambucano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Curcio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Valdemar de Amaral sped through Kesoku FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Curcio. In the 87th minute, Jonatan Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Jânio Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio 20 Julho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Valdemar de Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Jorge Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kesoku FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
