Hernan Lehen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valter Wallgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 19th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, André Törnqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woopbongo and the Nippur de Lagash 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, André Törnqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Cordarell in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valter Wallgren saved Woopbongo from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, Nippur de Lagash 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Dantae to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Chayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tito Chayo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson. But to his dismay, Ola Håkansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Valter Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 35th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Ola Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's Tim Månsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Valter Wallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cordarell came free, but Valter Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Peder Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Ariando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valter Wallgren. Woopbongo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valter Wallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Lehen in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's Casimiro Cordarell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Wallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Cordarell in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valter Wallgren saved Woopbongo from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ola Håkansson to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from André Törnqvist in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nippur de Lagash 2's Sergio Dantae. André Törnqvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. André Törnqvist hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Nippur de Lagash 2 were awarded a corner. Israel Oliviero went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 91st minute of the match Nippur de Lagash 2 got a corner. Woopbongo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Oliviero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Israel Oliviero made a great header on Nippur de Lagash 2's corner, it was just that Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren managed to reach the ball for a save. 95 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lehen came free, but Valter Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Nippur de Lagash 2's corner Israel Oliviero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valter Wallgren quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Woopbongo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
