Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Wirinckx in the 8th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Michael Wirinckx notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok. Mert Günok was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoffel Portmans came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Jarkko Laatikainen. But to his dismay, Jarkko Laatikainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Jarkko Laatikainen in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Dreigoten's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Jarkko Laatikainen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffel Portmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarkko Laatikainen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoffel Portmans. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. Qwinten Strupar got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Wirinckx. Jarkko Laatikainen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Christoffel Portmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute Futbol Sevenler Kulübü were awarded a corner. Ünal Betik went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Jarkko Laatikainen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute, Qwinten Strupar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffel Portmans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarkko Laatikainen in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Van der Borght came free, but Mert Günok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Arnout Worteleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarkko Laatikainen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 41st playminute. Mert Günok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolas Wittemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The supporters of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Vandendriessche didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Ünal Betik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Portmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mert Günok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderik Van den Berch, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jarkko Laatikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christoffel Portmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbek in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Özgür Özbek notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans. Christoffel Portmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Yücel Tandoğdu was substituted for Ünal Betik. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
