An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 5th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Basso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aparicio Ladra in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Plaza Babys CF's Bernardino Aguilo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo Basso. Cristoforo Basso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cristoforo Basso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pietro Echavarri went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of As Melfi 1929 booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pietro Echavarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Aļģis Engers got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when As Melfi 1929 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Bonfigli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Abete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aļģis Engers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aļģis Engers. In the 24th minute Yasin Saleh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasin Saleh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes, Domenico Bonfigli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the As Melfi 1929 and the Plaza Babys CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Domenico Bonfigli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yasin Saleh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cristoforo Basso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Basso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra. But to his dismay, Aparicio Ladra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Di Piazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristoforo Basso. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Cristoforo Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparicio Ladra, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardino Aguilo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristoforo Basso. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparicio Ladra in the 52nd minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Yasin Saleh made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Basso. As Melfi 1929's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 60th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yasin Saleh came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Plaza Babys CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasin Saleh couldn't finish the play. Bianco Di Nunzio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, As Melfi 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Aparicio Ladra came free, but Cristoforo Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Echavarri. Aparicio Ladra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Plaza Babys CF's Joseba Sacristán was substituted for Zahar Garzon. Abelardo Macías was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fulvio Di Cesare showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 73 minute of play. Cristoforo Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kristiansson in the 77th minute of the match. Enrico Abete kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bo Kristiansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Basso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Kristiansson ran back to his position shaking his head. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 81st minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for As Melfi 1929! As Melfi 1929:s Cristoforo Basso showed great skill when he stopped Aļģis Engers:s penalty. Bo Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Basso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Basso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Plaza Babys CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
