Adolphe De Coster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jakub Pazura made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Wos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Adolphe De Coster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Pazura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breannain McNamee might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakub Pazura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breannain McNamee ran back to his position shaking his head. When Christian Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Blaugrana Kraków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Gabon couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Gabon in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69th play minutes Christian Gabon shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Bengt Byström and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Blaugrana Kraków made a substitution. Bengt Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Ryback came free, but Bengt Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Blaugrana Kraków supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Blaugrana Kraków would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
