The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Nghiêm Tong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dalin's zone, Mauricio Ekaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hoàng Tran came out of the goal and Mauricio Ekaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Evarado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nghiêm Tong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Samuel Evarado made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Trần Ritchell sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Trần Ritchell made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Evarado. Hermosillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Ritchell in the 15th minute of the match. FC Dalin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kyriakos Paltoudakis in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Nguyễn Chuong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Dalin's Trần Ritchell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Evarado. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nghiêm Tong in the 31st minute of the match. Gonzalo Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Samuel Evarado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Dalin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kyriakos Paltoudakis in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Kyriakos Paltoudakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado did a great save. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Nguyễn Chuong tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorvald Mansel to make the kick off. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dalin's Trần Ritchell. But to his dismay, Trần Ritchell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Thorvald Mansel put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Evarado. The audience was convinced that Thorvald Mansel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Evarado was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nghiêm Tong in the 65th minute of play. If Thorvald Mansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nghiêm Tong in the 70th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Ritchell in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Ritchell came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Thorvald Mansel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Chuong in the 81st minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dalmacio Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dalin's protests and gave Dalmacio Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Dalin getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dalmacio Jakes hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Nguyễn Chuong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Nghiêm Tong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the FC Dalin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
