Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute I Putu í Lon Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Sampler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kent Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Dresdner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Kent Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Dresdner was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Fernando Arquett hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raffaelo Anderegg in the 14th minute of the match. Kent Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Dresdner having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Kent Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannes Dresdner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 20th minute, Cyrill Graf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Kent Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waud Soetemans in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Sampler saved Mercado Paulista F.C from getting behind. Mercado Paulista F.C's attentive Hans Doss managed to snatch the ball when Raffaelo Anderegg made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Jayvier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 44th minute of play. Kent Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Black Dragons were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cyrill Graf hit a great ball. Kent Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hannes Dresdner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Kent Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bodo Rodel in the 62nd minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Franco Sampler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Lindberg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Dresdner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raffaelo Anderegg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bodo Rodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Franco Sampler made a huge save. Franco Sampler was a little too slow when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. 80 minutes into the match, Kent Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Dresdner. Black Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Lindberg in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Dresdner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Sampler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
