The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Tehlikeli Aslar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Tükel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamit İçten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Todd Gronow scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamit İçten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Gronow in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamit İçten saved Tehlikeli Aslar from getting behind. In the 30th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit İçten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Tehlikeli Aslar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inaki Mirabal took the corner. The corner led Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro to fire away a dangerous shot which Hamit İçten despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Resul Kılıc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ildefonso Foro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Foro couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Ildefonso Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit İçten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inaki Mirabal in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Resul Kılıc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Janpier. Resul Kılıc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamit İçten. Hamit İçten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Tehlikeli Aslar's goalkeeper Hamit İçten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todd Gronow. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Todd Gronow took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Hamit İçten to make any attempt to save it. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Gerardo Etxepare replaced Fabio Manuelo. Tehlikeli Aslar's İsa Orsan was substituted for Derman Öğüç. Andreas Harlén charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Harlén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Andreas Harlén hit a great ball. Orhan Seyfi Tükel made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Desiderio Quintas immediately put the ball in play. After 91 played minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Inaki Mirabal. Mariusz Ratulowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamit İçten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariusz Ratulowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Tehlikeli Aslar booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Chowaniec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
