Thanks to some nice moves Roger Romary could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Sabin Pânzaru however easily saved by the left post. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Bianco in the 19th minute of play. Sabin Pânzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kian Natanael in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Federico Bianco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Borgatello in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kian Natanael struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sabin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ruscova. In the 64th minute Carlo Borgatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Borgatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Pânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kian Natanael in the 68th minute of the match. FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Borgatello in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Sichitiu to maneuver through the defense. FC Aquile Azzurre's Alex Buffone was substituted for Osvaldinho Queirós. Roger Romary ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dinç Dede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
