When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Rivas made a kick off. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Rua, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Carballeira during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Fetiyerd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Arraz to maneuver through the defense. Iker Mendiko got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alessandro Costacurta.
