The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aírton de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Dias in the 4th minute of play. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Mikolas in the 9th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Motta Futebol Clube's António Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Válbson de Alcântara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the game, Maximo Mikolas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aírton de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xie Ao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pimenta having to interfere. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Mikolas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Maximo Mikolas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Dias in the 25th minute of the match. Hamilton Espírito Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aírton de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but António Pimenta made a huge save. The Motta Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portucale H5 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Válbson de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. António Pimenta came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Válbson de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 55 minutes in the game Amdi Hjortboe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hamilton Espírito Santo. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Portucale H5 were awarded a corner. Maximo Mikolas went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Barroso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Motta Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Portucale H5's corner Ivo Gusmão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aírton de Lima quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Hamilton Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portucale H5's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamilton Espírito Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Mikolas came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton de Lima came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Portucale H5's Maximo Mikolas. But to his dismay, Maximo Mikolas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Otávio Maranhense replaced Dudu Hermes. In the 75th minute Maximo Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Aírton de Lima made a huge save. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Motta Futebol Clube defense, Hamilton Espírito Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton de Lima. The Motta Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton de Lima should have stopped the shot.
