Silverio Quintun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ludomil Ziomkowski. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 9th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 秦西星 in the 11th minute of play. René Stam came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha. But to his dismay, Afonso da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ludomil Ziomkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 秦西星's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Frederik didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 秦西星 in the 31st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Gustavo da Silva replaced Virgiawan Laturua. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso da Cunha to make the kick off. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo da Silva in the 55th minute of play.
