In the 31st minute, Eskil Lindblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. René Stam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eskil Lindblom might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Stam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eskil Lindblom ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelino Roldan was a little too slow when Peker Kazak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. Despite this René Stam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Peker Kazak. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daði 曹南亦, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Abasto fútbol club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hudson Falcão in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on Abasto fútbol club's corner Daði 曹南亦 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and René Stam quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eskil Lindblom to make the kick off.
