With a little luck, Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan got control of the ball when Farid Verrecchia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Lindblom came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Lindblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Le Stade Briochin UC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hudson Falcão was slow to take the kick. During this time Abasto fútbol club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hudson Falcão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin did a great save. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Lindblom in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Eskil Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes Le Stade Briochin UC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hudson Falcão who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Le Stade Briochin UC's goalie and right to İlhan Sanih. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Le Stade Briochin UC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Tabor in the 27th minute of play. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Lindblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Abasto fútbol club booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Louis Eudeline didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Jaime Tabor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Roldan. Jaime Tabor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Angelino Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Fernando Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Le Stade Briochin UC's Dimitri Nedellec was substituted for Nolan Roux. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Jaime Tabor made the kick off in the second half. Lev Yashin had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Burgos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Tiadoro in the 71st minute of play. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Reno in the 73rd minute of the match. After 78 minutes Le Stade Briochin UC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hudson Falcão who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hudson Falcão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin did a great save. Lev Yashin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Burgos went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 83 minutes, Jaime Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Nedellec in the 84th minute of play. Angelino Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Tiadoro in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelino Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitri Nedellec's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 92 minutes in the game, Alex Burgos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Tiadoro in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Dimitri Nedellec notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan. Angelino Roldan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Parsons scored 3-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Roldan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abasto fútbol club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Le Stade Briochin UC.
