But to his dismay, Göran Unesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Malmström came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Team Rocco were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Club Athletico Paulistano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ralf Vase took the corner. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
