Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 13th minute of play. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Xi Jun in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Demiralp Hekimbaşı in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Athletico Paulistano's Glauco da Rocha. In the 43rd minute, Dong Xi Jun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirates of Black Sea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

One of Club Athletico Paulistano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pirates of Black Sea:s goal. The referee gave Pirates of Black Sea a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dong Xi Jun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara. 2-0. Pirates of Black Sea made a substitution. Oğuzalp Tekecan replaced Mazhar Tanyolaç. The supporters of Pirates of Black Sea booed when Club Athletico Paulistano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes, Dong Xi Jun made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabinho dos Santos hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Athletico Paulistano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pirates of Black Sea.
