In the 40th minute, Kuuno Tälli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Ur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Dumitru Doloman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Wladyslaw Popowicz replaced Raimundo Santos. C. A. Potrero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
