C.'s Umberto Cunha managed to reach the ball for a save. 8 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Mehat Kovaçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Xing Song, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Xing Song came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umberto Cunha was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Mehat Kovaçi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehat Kovaçi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Mehat Kovaçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umberto Cunha was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehat Kovaçi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Angel Morales came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cougars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Morales couldn't finish the play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Solo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Ang Le in the 42nd minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lu Xing Song to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Cougars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 71st minute of play forced Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cougars FC made a substitution. Steffen Gimlinge replaced Mehat Kovaçi. The supporters of Pégasus F. Eustaquio Mede made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Inocencio Paublo however managed to control. Steffen Gimlinge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Steffen Gimlinge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 95th minute, Lorenzo Leiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 98 minutes, Steffen Gimlinge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cougars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Gimlinge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cougars FC had won, even though Pégasus F. C. had held more of the ball.
