Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Orlan in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bembenfica's Alípio Rego. Alípio Rego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehat Kovaçi scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alípio Rego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Terrasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Bembenfica from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen Gimlinge in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alípio Rego saved Bembenfica from getting behind. The Bembenfica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cougars FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cougars FC.
