When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Leopoldo Baraquiel put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edvin Bruhn. After 73 minutes Ronnys Lärjungar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toto Mansilla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Toto Mansilla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvin Bruhn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edvin Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Martinovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rosario Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toto Mansilla in the 76th minute. Rosario Central's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
